Officially inaugurated in May 1996, the World Trade Center Macau (WTC Macau) provides exclusive conference facilities and offices for the local and international business. WTC Macau is also the international marketing arm supported by many influential members of Macau business community.

Prominent businessman Liu Chak Wan chairs WTC Macau’s General Assembly while renowned businessman Chui Sai Cheong is the Chairman of the Board. The Center’s spokesman and main legal representative is Sam Chan Io, who serves as both Managing Director of the Center and President of the Executive Committee, whose members include Executive Directors Peter Lam and José Tang. The active participation of these outstanding businessmen constitutes a valuable contribution to the worldwide promotion of Macau’s trade opportunities. The Macau government is the major shareholder, while many of the city’s influential businesses also have substantial shares in WTC Macau.
