MACAU FOREIGN MERCHANDISE TRADE UP IN
THE FIRST NINE MONTHS, PRODUCES SURPLUS
Macaus
foreign merchandise trade in the first nine months this year resulted in a trade balance
surplus of 274 million patacas.
The territorys export-import ratio
improved from 97.2 per cent in the first nine months last year to 102.2 per cent in the
same period this year.
The total export value, comprising both
domestic exports and re-exports, amounted to 12.709 billion patacas, up 11.4 per cent on
the first nine months last year.
The total import value
reached 12.434 billion patacas, up six per cent. While domestic
exports rose 17 per cent, re-exports fell 16.8 per cent.. |
