Dear Colleagues

António Leça da Veiga Paz, President of WTC Macau and Regional Coordinator for Asia Pacific/South has the pleasure of announcing that the 2000 WTCA Asia Regional Meeting will be held in Macau from 8-10 November, with a post conference tour scheduled for 11 November.

The main objective of this event is to analyse the more critical operational problems that are troubling WTCs in Asia, and to find new models that could incorporate WTCA's philosophy and mode of operation, thus allowing other ways of consolidating and generating growth within our Association.

Another main topic at the meeting is to discuss networking programs and study the important role of national organizations responsible for economic promotion, regional governments, business associations, and municipal councils in order to make them users and promoters of the WTC concept.

We hope to count with your strong participation and support in the event, and trade missions are encouraged. In the meantime, please try to schedule to be in Macau from 8-11 November for this meaningful event, and more detailed information will be sent to you in September.
