The World Trade Center – Macau, SARL (Centro
de Comércio Mundial – Macau, SARL) intending to promote
voluntary arbitration, with an institutional nature, under the
terms of Article 1 of Decree – law n.º 40/96/M, of
22 July, requested permission to create a Voluntary Arbitration
Center.
Being well known the importance of the petitioner, as well as
its dignity and technical capacity to perform the activity it
intends to execute, the conditions that guarantee its adequate
compliance are gathered; therefore all legal requirements to grant
such permit are fulfilled.
So, under Article 3 of Decree – law n.º 40/96/M of
22 July:
1. I approve the creation of the Voluntary Arbitration Center
of the World Trade Center – Macau, SARL.
2. The Center promotes the execution of general voluntary arbitration
and has registered office in Macau, Av. da Amizade, World Trade
Center, n.º 918, 17th floor.
3. The scope of the Center is to promote the resolution of:
a) Disputes between the members of the World Trade Center
– Macau, SARL, the members of other World Trade Centers
and/or the members of the world Trade Center Association,
Incorporated, State of Delaware, U.S.A;
b) Disputes between the abovementioned members and any third
parties.
c) Any disputes regarding civil, administrative or commercial
matters, between any third parties.
4. The parties must submit the resolution of the disputes referred
in Article 3 through a previous arbitration agreement.
