Order of Chief Executive No. 151/2008

By Order No. 48/GM/98, the creation of a center to conduct voluntary arbitrations at the World Trade Center Macau – SARL was authorized.

Under the same Order, the above mentioned center was named 澳門世界貿易中心有限公司自願仲裁中心 in Chinese, and Centro de Arbitragens Voluntárias do Centro de Comércio Mundial – Macau, SARL, in Portuguese.

The World Trade Center Macau – SARL has requested to simplify the name of the center to 澳門世界貿易中心仲裁中心 in Chinese, Centro de Arbitragem do Centro de Comércio Mundial Macau, in Portuguese, and World Trade Center Macau Arbitration Center in English.

This request does not change the regulation of the arbitration center nor create any misunderstanding at the public about the mission of the center.

Using the powers granted by Article 50 of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Chief Executive decides:

To authorize the voluntary arbitration center, created within the scope of the World Trade Center Macau – SARL by Order No. 48/GM/98, to use the names 澳門世界貿易中心仲裁中心 in Chinese, Centro de Arbitragem do Centro de Comércio Mundial Macau, in Portuguese, and World Trade Center Macau Arbitration Center in English.
